When playing golf, there are many rules. It isn’t juat a matter of turning up to a golf course, playing a round of golf and then going home. You have to show good golf etiquette to be able to fit in with your surroundings and also to be allowed to play at the golf club.

Not all but some of these guys are wearing white pants with a red shirt or grey pants and a yellow shirt and then there's the red shoes. What's up with that? They would never wear that on the street so why wear it playing golf. I like golf by the way just not what they wear.
But the colors…. Red shoes? come on
No, there's no rule, but it is a lot of fun! It is one way to psych out your opponent and get him thinking about something besides his golf game. There are even some national tournaments in the US such as the Ugly Pants Open, etc. that celebrate it, and a lot of websites that specalize in ugly golf pants (try googling it).
And, the best part, is that if you are wearing a hideous outfit, you don't have to look at it, but everybody else does.
On the pro tours, the young euros are known for getting exotic with their clothes. Sergio, Ian Poulter, and a lot of the Swedes.

What does it consist of? polo shirts, shorts? ect Pls help!
Many department stores carry at least one line of golf shirts for men.
For expample, Dillards carries Jack Nicklas. Shirts are all you need to be concerned about since he can use regular mens casual shorts, please no cargo shorts or denim. Also, many of the more upscale public courses carry a good line of shirts and you may be able to shop in the pro shops of many of the private golf clubs (I know that the pro shop of the private club I belong to welcomes outside shoppers since they have a budget to meet) and generally have a very complete selection of shirts from several vendors.
How do I find a company that manufactures golf clothing. Ashworth, Callaway. How did these companies start?

Men have so much choice when it comes to golf clothing, and as a young woman golfer I cannot find anything other than middle-aged frump wear!
Does anyone in the UK, or via the internet in the USA cater for younger women golfers?
Yes, there are plenty of makes, but finding them in the UK is not always that easy – many pro shops seems to think we should be happy wearing Green Lamb and Pringle!

You can get some great Spanish and Italian designs as well.
Two of the best places I know for ladies clothing are Silvermere Golf Club and West Byfleet Golf Club, both in Surrey and about 4 miles from each other. Well worth a day trip!
