A full set usually consists of 14 clubs sometimes less but 14 is the maximum allowed. It will consist of a Driver, a fairway wood or two, newer sets may have a few hybrids, then a set of irons which can consist of anything from a 3, 4, 5-9, then a set usually has at least one wedge (pitching wedge) but may also have a sandwedge and or lob wedge. Last but not least don’t forget about the putter. Hope this helps

There is a 14 club maximum which a golfer is allowed to carry at any one time. They could be any of the following: 1 thru 9 wood, all the hybrids( I am not familiar with those), 1 thru 9 lrons, 4 wedges ( pitching, gap, sand and lob ) and putter. The most common make up of a set starts with a driver, 3,5,and 7 woods; 4,5,6,7,8,and 9 irons, pitching wedge, gap wedge, sand wedge and putter.
