Can A Golf Tip Via The Internet Aid Your Game
A golf tip online can save you hours out of your time, nonetheless would it honestly help your game? With a growing number of individuals acquiring Web connections, golfers have been flocking to the Internet in hopes to search out tips, tactics and even total golf performance applications to save their own golf game.
There are numerous concerns with taking a golf tip on the web and with the expectation it may be the silver bullet to your game. Make sure you keep in mind the source of this golf tip. For those who see an article like this one, or find some resource via the internet, always read the resource box at the bottom of the article.
Generally the article or resource will have a mini- bio of the one which authored the advice with a link to either the website or some form of indepth reason of who the person is and what their qualifications are.
Any individual golfer regardless of what his or her experience or certifications can post a golf tip via internet via website, blog or paper. On the net this is widespread! There are more so- named as experts than ever before. Each golfer very likely has a quantity of worthwhile strategies and information they’ve got to give, but if they are not qualified to provide it, they need to very likely keep it for their own game.
Given the Internet turning into more of a “pay- for- content” medium, there’s lots of competent people who are adding effective golf tips via the internet, together with reports, ebooks and also complete special sites like my Golf- Trainer. com site that has been on the net for over 5 years now. Ever since then, I have discovered a great deal of imitation internet sites and services, and is one tremendous problem with the internet.
Web surfers might never know what reports, ebooks and membership sites are probably the most reputable and original in arrangement and effectiveness. I am almost always hesitant with reading any golf tip on the net until I carefully look into the person behind the system. How long have they been in their profession? What successes have they given a hand to produce? And privided you can personally seek the advice of a couple of people who have purchased and benefited from their offerings?
During the process of exploring the products and programs, read all of the copy on the site. You would read some pretty remarkable things Which is hard to digest. Most of these boasts seem crazy once you consider how long they have been on the net and how many so- named golfers they’ve assisted. Do some math and you’ll notice that most figures are probably bogus.
The bottom line with any golf tip on the web is if it does for that matter also help your game. If it does, you’ll most likely reveal to many other golfing coworkers about it and the website and business will likely be successful merely from word- of- mouth.
Yet one last piece of advice. Each and every person or business sharing golf tips via the internet needs to be reachable. You must easily be able to acquire their contact information, as well as phone number. Any time I answer my phone, people are astonished! I ask them why, and they say they didn’t know there was a “real person” behind it.
Which is a sad setting that indicates the skepticism of web visitors. If you have to look very hard for the contact details, I would possibly not recommend using or buying any golf tips or products on the internet.
I don’t want to deter you, but simply do a small amount of research when looking for a golf tip via the internet.

Indiana Golf Lodgings
Posted by Golf Pro in Golf Course on November 22nd, 2009
Whether your goal is to be the next Tiger Woods or just have some fun, golfing is an incredibly popular sport. Indiana golf lodgings offer you the opportunity to play till your arms fall off.
Indiana Golf Lodgings
When you think of Indiana, your mind might not immediately go to golf. Many people consider this state to be the home of racing with the Indy 500 held here in Indianapolis, but it’s also a great midwestern getaway for golf enthusiasts. With many different golf courses and lodgings located here, chances are you’ll find just the right place for your golf vacation.
A quick look at Indiana Traveler’s website lists many different golf courses in many different towns and cities. While these are all options for the golf vacationer, it’s often better to combine your golf course and resort in one place. One of the largest of the Indiana golf lodgings is Swan Lake, located in Plymouth, Indiana. This resort is home to the Indiana National Golf Club and the US Golf Academy. The Indiana National Golf Club houses two championship golf courses, and the Golf Academy has lessons and other activities available for the golfer. Swan Lake is a beautiful building, picturesque and perfect for weddings and meetings as well as vacations. There are 92 guest rooms, four cottages and two cabins available as lodgings, and other amenities include spas and pools for those times you’re not on the links.
A second of the many Indiana golf lodgings available is the Eagle Pointe Golf Resort just 10 minutes south of Bloomington, Indiana. This resort offers a 6700 yard championship golf course, a pro shop, driving range and a PGA professional on staff. The lodgings here are also first rate; they are all condos with one to four bedrooms each, and they include use of the pools and other amenities. This resort also has spectacular views of the Monroe Reservoir, Indiana’s largest lake.
One last look at the Indiana golf lodgings brings us to the French Lick Springs Resort and Casino. This resort, located in French Lick, Indiana, combines all of the excitement of a casino and spa retreat with great golfing. Under renovation until November 2006, the hotel will house 442 guest rooms and be opulent and impressive. Located on the resort property is the Donald Ross Course, which held many national and regional tournaments, and will in August 2006 be reopened after being renovated and restored.
There are many different places in the country to golf, but choosing one of the Indiana golf lodgings will allow you not only a golfing vacation, but also a great stay at a great resort. Centrally located in the Midwest United States, these lodgings are a great place for anyone in the US to come and relax, and get in a few rounds of golf while you’re there.

Rotation, Rotation, And More Rotation In Your Golf Swing
In real estate, it’s location, location and location.
In golf, it’s all about rotation. More power requires better rotation. To keep your body healthier, it’s about better rotation. For consistency, you’d better be able to rotate.
The body rotates around a spine angle that should be fixed or stable, keeping your club on the proper swing path. Are you able to do this with your swing?
This may be the idea that separates the high handicapper and low handicapper: the ability to rotate your body, keeping the club on a consistent swing plane.
Admittedly, some of the pros like Jim Furyk make some interesting movements in the swing, but if you dissect it a little further, you will notice they keep the club in a certain slot on the backswing and on the downswing. Every tour player is able to rotate around a fixed or stable spine angle, make a linear weight transfer, and successfully hit the golf ball.
This is the goal of the golf swing: keep the golf club in a slot, essentially dissecting the shoulder on the back swing and follow through.
How many of us do that?
Fewer than we would probably like to admit. So how do we rotate the body and keep the club in this slot? The answer is probably not the one we would like to hear. It requires developing a “feel” for the golf swing and knowing what the body is doing at every step of the golf swing.
Essentially, you must develop a feel for both the club and your body. Some of us are better at it than others. At this point, it is ingrained into the body and you will know when the swing is off and what to correct. Keep in mind, we are not going to make a perfect swing every time, but that is our goal.
How do we go about keeping the swing on the correct plane and developing “feel?”
I know of two possibilities. One of the answers is probably quite obvious.
The first answer to this question has to do with your golf swing mechanics. Yes, probably not a surprise to many of you.
The golf swing is an intricate, biomechanical movement requiring you to perform a large number of movements with the correct timing and no room for error.
Understanding the correct biomechanical sequence of the golf swing and the ability to execute it take great instruction, a good amount of practice, patience and time.
The body can learn either the correct or incorrect way to swing a golf club. As a result, it is imperative to receive quality instruction on the proper way to swing a club.
Secondly, the mind and body learn new movements through repetition. The only way to learn the correct golf swing is through consistent practice. Practice ingrains into your brain, nerves, and muscles how to properly execute the movements of the golf swing, the correct sequence of the golf swing, and the correct timing of the golf swing.
Finally, to learn the golf swing correctly it takes time. It is not an overnight process but requires consistent time spent practicing and playing. Don’t let anyone fool you that there is a quick-fix patch that will drop your handicap 25 strokes while you’re sleeping.
Over a certain time period the body will learn the swing. It’s different for each of us. Once the body learns the swing, the “feel” begins to develop. Once you get that feel, you will begin know exactly where your clubhead is at all times during the golf swing.
I can’t feel a thing!
Most of us understand that the golf swing is a rotational movement and requires learning the proper biomechanics of the golf swing. However, the second part of the answer of developing “feel” may be less understood.
Now think about this for a second. What if your body is not able to rotate around a fixed spine angle? If you can’t rotate, it will be very, and I mean very, hard to keep your club in a slot.
I see it all the time with amateurs. They want to develop a good swing desperately, but are unable to do so because of a weak, inflexible, and powerless body.
If you are inflexible in the hips, how are you going to rotate in a manner that places the club in the correct slot for the downswing? It’s not going to happen!
If you have poor balance, how are you going to develop “feel” in the golf swing? You’re not!
It comes down to this notion about the golf swing.
Your body is performing the mechanics of the golf swing. In order to do this properly, your body must have certain levels of flexibility, balance, strength, endurance, and power.
The only, and I mean only, way to develop a good swing and “feel” within your swing requires a body that can support your swing.
The swing is a very complex movement requiring a synergy between your body and the mechanics of the swing. If you attempt to develop a swing without a body to support it, you are on your way to a very frustrating experience and lowering your handicap will be a trying time.
I would strongly suggest implementing a program that develops your swing mechanics in conjunction with your body. The exercises in Your Body & Your Swing will take your body to where it needs to be.
If you are looking for help learning the correct golf swing mechanics, take a look at our golf swing instructional videos. Putting both the body and the swing together will give you the results you’re looking for.

Golf Tips On When To Chip Versus Putting
Posted by Golf Pro in Golf Clubs on November 20th, 2009
Playing a chip shot from the fringe of a green versus putting through the fringe can be a little confusing for the average golfer. A lot of golfers choose to putt for the fear of not being able to control the distance of a chip shot around a green, and lets not talk about choking a chip shot. More often than not the confidence lies in the ability to putt the ball. When do you decide to chip instead of putt?
A quick review of some your options will help in the decision process. The circumstances have to be right to putt the ball. Here are some golf tips to consider and several situations to help your decision on choosing to chip the golf ball rather than electing to putt.
You may want to chip in these circumstances.
(1)Wet grass or thick grass.
The moisture or thickness of the grass is going to slow up the ball considerably, therefore weight of putt has to be determined to get it through the grass, and once you get it rolling on the green, the weight of putt it took you to get it through the fringe may not be enough or too much distance for the golf hole. In this circumstance there is too much weight control to consider.
(2)A very wet or slow green.
Chipping the golf ball will take a lot of moisture out of play, and a slow green forces you to swing harder with a putter to get the golf ball up to the hole, when the art of putting should call for a soft touch.
(3)Long grass and uphill to the hole.
You have to hit it harder to get it through the grass with a putter and up to the hole. Eliminate the chance of getting the golf ball caught up in the grass by chipping out and over.
(4)Over 7 feet of grass between golf ball and start of green, and hole is beyond center of green.
Chipping over the grass will eliminate slowing the golf ball up if you have a lot of green to work with.
(5)Hole is beyond center of green and more than 20 feet.
The odds are higher on getting the golf ball beyond 20 feet with a chipper versus a putter.
(6)Sprinkler system directly in front of line to golf hole or other obstacle that will affect the roll of golf ball.
Eliminate possible deflection of golf ball by chipping over the obstacle.
(7)Too much rolling terrain in the first 1/3 distance to the hole.
Taking most of the rolling green out of play by chipping over will give you a lot less rolling green to read unless you are very good at reading greens.
You have the ultimate decision on your ability to play any one of these golf club selections in these circumstances, but there is a good reason to think about these circumstances before you choose the club. I hope some of these golf tips will help in your decision process, and your goal to save strokes.

Knock Your Friends Out With Your Golf Style
Sick of ripping your hair out and watching your golf clubs fly through the air in frustration? Guess what ladies, this could be a thing of the past.
15 Top golfing tips that WILL improve your game and the boys will definately be buying your drinks.
TIP 1. Putting Games need work on your short putts? One of the best ways is to putt on a dime – it’s great for improving focus and concentration! Another good drill is to sink five in a row from one foot, then from two feet, then three feet, and so on. If you miss one, well you start again, from the beginning. And you can’t go up in distance until you’ve made all five. That should occupy you until tee time.
TIP 2. Pull the Rope! I’ve found that most people with a slice problem cut across the ball on the downswing. To learn the correct path for the clubhead to follow, think of a rope attached to a tree above you. From the top of the backswing, you should feel that you’re pulling the rope straight down. This forces the right elbow to stay close to your side. It also gives your stroke the correct inside path, and improves your ability to swing out toward the target rather than across the ball.
TIP 3. Hold Up the Ball Many golfers let the left knee collapse toward the right on the backswing. This causes your shoulder to drop, and makes your hips sway and overturn. To fix this, imagine your left knee going out toward the target on the backswing. You should feel tension and stability in both knees. Can’t quite get it? Try this: Imagine that you’re holding a basketball between your knees. Give it a try, you’ll be amazed!
TIP 4. Be a Hitchhiker; here’s a good image to keep in mind during your backswing: think of placing your right hand in a “hitchhiker” position. This means that when the club is at waist height, you should be able to look back and see your thumb pointing to the sky. Here’s another trick: Imagine that your hand is in a handshake position, with the palm facing neither up nor down. These simple thought will ensure the beginning of your swing is correct!
TIP 5. Pause at the top swinging too quickly is a common mistake. I’m not saying you shouldn’t swing with power and acceleration – but rather, that you need to maintain a rhythm. The best way to accomplish this is to imagine a slight pause at the tip of your backswing before changing direction and beginning the downswing. Do this and you’ll find your ball in the middle of the fairway more often!
TIP 6. Eye on a dime feeling depressed over your putting? Here’s a simple drill that will put discipline back in your stroke. Place the ball atop a dime, then keep your eyes focused on the dime all the way through your stroke. Avoid the urge to follow the ball with your eyes immediately after impact – especially on short putts. Just watch for the dime, rather than following the ball with your eyes, head and shoulders.
TIP 7. See yourself in the clubface one of the keys to getting out of greenside bunkers is to keep the clubface “open”. When you close the face, you get a lower trajectory and the club tends to dig in the sand. Here’s a trick to help you achieve this: image that the clubface is a mirror, and that you’re going to see your reflection in it at the finish of your sand shot. This will ensure that you take the club all the way to eye level and that you’ve kept it open all the way to the finish.
TIP 8. Check your V’s! Many things can cause a slice, but most often the grip is the source of the trouble. Here’s how to fix it: make sure that when looking down at address, you can see the first two knuckles of your left hand and a “V” formed between the thumb and forefinger pointing toward your right shoulder. With the right hand, have the “V” pointing toward your chin or slightly to the right shoulder.
TIP 9. Bullseye! Three-foot putts can really mess with your mind if you let them. One strategy employed by one of the all time great putter, seve ballesteros, is to imagine a bullseye attached to the back of the cup. This image encourages you to accelerate the putter through to the hole and keep the clubface moving square to the hole.
TIP 10. Shoulder under chin – you won’t hit it thin! Do you suffer from topping the ball or “hitting it thin?” Try to get in the habit of placing your right shoulder under your chin before looking for where the ball goes. This doesn’t mean to keep your head down forever. Let your head move, but let your shoulder be what brings it up after contact. Do this properly and you’ll almost see the club hit the ball.
TIP 11. Step on it! The best way to practice a good weight shift is to step with your right foot over the left after you hit the ball. You should feel as if you’re walking right after contact. After each swing, ask yourself: “where is the weight?” Is it on the right foot, or the left? A proper, balanced position should be 90% on the left foot, and 10% on the right toe. From there, your momentum will naturally carry you to the walking position with right over left.
TIP 12. Hit far with the ball forward your position over the ball should vary according to the club you’re using. For instance, the ball should be in the middle of your stance with the shorter irons (7, 8, 9, PW). As the loft of the club decreases, the ball should be incrementally farther toward the front foot, until it’s just inside the left heel when hitting the woods. Also, remember that if you want to purposely hit lower shots, t;he ball should be back in the sFor higher shots, it should be forward.
TIP 13. Rock-Solid right knee on the backswing, it’s crucial to keep weight on the inside of the right foot, and maintain a slight bend in the knee. Failure to do this can mean poor contact and a loss of power. As you take the club back, imagine that the right knee is braced and solid like a wall. This helps your upper body coil behind the ball, so you can make an aggressive move through it-and really send it flying.
TIP 14. Grip it light on the right in general, you need to keep the right side solid for a strong shot. But don’t let this carry through to your grip. Many golfers tend to grip the club too tightly with the right hand, which leads to unnecessary tension. It can also make you swing “over the top” and cut across the ball. Here’s the fix: check your right-side grip, arm, and shoulder tension before each swing. You should sense that have muscle tension corresponding to a “6″ or “7″ on a scale of 1-10: light muscles are better than tight muscles.
TIP 15. Muscle it! Golf isn’t a wrist game. To achieve a powerful swing, you need to employ the big muscles of the legs and trunk. The common instinct of many amateurs is to hit at the ball with only the arms and wrists. Every once in a while this may connect, but for real consistency and power, use the whole body, not just part of it.
That’s it for now and good luck with these simple and easy tips to improving your golf game.

A Better Golf Swing Is Inevitable If Your Consitent
A better golf swing is inevitable…for any golfer, with the right approach. It doesn’t matter age or ability. It’s a reality…and can happen very quickly!
To achieve a better golf swing, a golfer needs to realize just how physically demanding it is on the human body. If you swing an object (golf club) at up to 100 mph. This puts a tremendous amount of pressure on the joints, tendons, ligaments and muscles.
If these tissues of the body are weak, tight or brittle they will rupture and eliminate you from playing golf indefinitely. If it doesn’t, your performance will pay the price. The outcome either way is not what you want…but will happen without an emphasis on strengthening these areas.
Along with strengthening comes stretching. Stretching muscles to attain a better golf swing is common among most golfers. Although it is common, most golfers don’t stretch. Why? Because it is viewed as ‘work’. But if it were viewed as a form of golf improvement it would be a different story.
Swing mechanics cannot be improved if your golf specific strength and flexibility are ignored. It is an impossibility, unless you compensate for this lack of capabilities in your golf swing. Teaching pros are now starting to realize there is a definite connection between golf swing mechanics and fitness.
But that’s where the BIG gap is. Between instruction and physical fitness. This is the ultimate combination for total golf performance and I have been preaching it for several years now. When your physical capabilities are improved, your golf swing mechanics become much easier to achieve.
The next time you visit your teaching pro, to achieve a better golf swing, you’ll be able to do what he/she wants and the desired outcome will be achieved. This outcome is inevitable when you get your body moving better. Your golf swing mechanics fall into place.
It will only be a matter of time when all golfers will approach their golf improvement this way. It’s the only way that will warrant lasting results and ultimately a better golf swing.
You just need to understand that a better golf swing is not depended upon how hard you hit the ball but, how much speed you put behind it. Strength will NOT out drive the speed hitter. Perfecting your swing to become consistent with every swing then, speed will follow and thus hitting a longer drive.
Just remember that a person who has stronger upper body strength will not always out hit the golf player who has increased his speed to the ball through consistent and a proper follow through.
One other very important factor is that the long hitter will not always outdo the player who is consistent and can get the ball in the hole in less strokes. Right?

9 Golf Tips For Playing Well Under Pressure
Follow and discover what the best tips are when you are under pressure.
Get Every Putt to the Hole!
In team formats, it pays to get the ball to the hole, if only to give your partners a good read. Most putts come up short because the player decelerates on the through-stroke. Instead, make sure your through-stroke is as long or slightly longer than your backstroke and work on your short game.
Minimize Your Swing Thoughts:
Keep your game plan simple. Put it on a piece of paper on the cart steering wheel and refer to it before each full shot.
Preshot: Visualize what you want the ball to do.
Address: Align the clubface where you want the ball to go.
Swing thought: Freely swing the clubhead.
Survive The First-tee Jitters:
Nervousness makes you speed up your tempo, which affects consistency and accuracy. Take several deep breaths as you get ready to hit, inhaling through your nose and exhaling through your mouth. Swing your driver smoothly, like you want to hit it only 100 yards. This will help you hit longer drives.
Make More Tough Short Putts:
Playing a format that requires you to putt everything out? Set your putterface square to the desired line, then square your feet and shoulders to that line. Make a smooth stroke while looking at the target, not at the ball.
Take More Club on Par 3s:
Few amateurs hit the ball over or through the green on par 3s; most come up short. Select a club that will get you to the yardage at the back of the green. If you hit it flush, you’re on; if you hit it less than solidly, you still might make it to the putting surface.
Score Lower on Par 5s:
Take a “do the math” approach. Most par 5s are 500 yards or more. Make the last shot your favorite yardage into the green. Subtract that yardage, then divide the difference by two. With this strategy, you’re hitting lofted clubs that are easier to hit and more accurate.
Get Out of the Sand in One Try:
Good greenside bunker players accelerate the clubhead through the shot, letting the sand “splash” the ball out. Set up with the face of your sand wedge slightly open, the ball slightly forward in your stance. Hit the sand behind the ball, and finish your swing like you’re hitting a full 5-iron.
Chip with Your Putting Stroke:
To avoid chunking or skulling your chip shots, take a lofted club like a 7-, 8- or 9-iron and grip it like your putter. Lean the shaft and your body toward the target for a slightly descending blow. Make your putting stroke, allowing the loft of the club to carry the ball over the unpredictable turf onto the green.
Get Your Irons Airborne:
Most topped shots occur when you try to help the ball into the air with a scooping motion. To hit down on the ball, set up with more weight on your left foot than your right. Take the club back more vertically and return it on a downward angle of attack. For more free info, please visit our blog at: www.golftipsinsider.com/blog

Golf Instruction And The Way It Should Be
Posted by Golf Pro in Uncategorized on September 26th, 2009
I have searched from head to foot and at a low level for a good golf coach and no luck! I have taken instruction on line, at clubs, from friends with low handicaps and still haven’t found a excellent one. I would go pay fifty dollars or further and have the kid tell me what I was “doing wrong” but I have yet to discover someone to help me do what is accurate. Why is it that when you take a lesson some place they continuously tell you what your doing wrong but never seem to give you a rock-hard plan to go forward? I would love to find a good quality pro that did Online Golf Instruction that could ask me what I was doing and what I required to get out of a golf lesson. I have found such a Pro and I’m going to tell you why in just 4 weeks he was able to spin my golf swing from one place to another with Online Golf Instruction. First he asked what I sought after to get done with my golf game. How can you recognize how to go forward without a direction? You can’t. When you get in your car to go somewhere you have a destination you have an address. In my case the GPS tells me what way to go and what way to turn and I follow because I have belief that it knows what it’s talking about. GPS is nothing with out me typing in a destination and I feel that golf instruction is the same way if you don’t identify what your looking to do you’ll have a hard time getting there.
The next point was that he asked me what further sports I had played in the past and at what degree. He also did a short flexibility quiz. After that I was asked if I had any physical limitations. I didn’t but what if I only had one arm or had a bad back. Wouldn’t you think that that should be taken into consideration? How can you ask someone to do something physical without knowing his or her physical ability? This should hold true with all instruction not just Online Golf Instruction.
Finally I was asked to communicate the superior parts of my game and the ghastly parts of my game and what my goals were as it connected to golf. If my driver was the best club in my bag and he asked me to do the lesson with my driver that wouldn’t make a whole lot of sense would it? What I am getting at is so many instructors assume what a person wants from them. I say ask. Ask questions first make a plan of action and follow through. Take the time to figure out what kind of ball flight they have and give them information that they can use to fix the problem. If more instructors would take these steps there wouldn’t be such a stigma against taking golf instruction.
Here Are 7 Tips To Improve Your Golf Game
It’s when you start to play golf that you learn fastest. If you have bad golfing habits today, you probably learned them when you first took up golf. But the good news is that anyone can break bad habits and learn good ones. Here are a couple of tips to help you on your way to playing better golf.
1. Your aim is vitally important. If you can’t send the ball in the right direction you will never get it in any of the holes. The clubface is the only thing that propels the ball, so line up the clubface with the target first, then take your stance with your shoulders parallel to the target line.
2. Always aim away from potential problems. Tee the ball on the side where the problem is. This will help to keep the ball in play and avoid penalties.
3. Bad wrist action equals a bad shot in 90 percent of cases. Keep the left wrist flat in relation to the back of the left forearm and the back of the left hand, and don’t swing the club back farther than shoulder turn.
4. Read the green properly. A golf ball will generally roll away from a hill and towards a water source. So, keep this in mind and adjust as necessary.
5. The grain of the green is important too as it effects the roll. Shiny grass show the grain running away from you, and dull grass highlights the grain running towards you. Putts with the grain go faster and further. Those against the grain go slower and less far.
6. Your shoulders should free golf tips. They should be passive and not lead. Remember that your shoulder movement will determine the direction that your club, and therefore the ball, will travel.
7. Place the golf ball on the ground and take your stance in such a way that the shadow of your head covers the ball. Make your swing keeping your eyes on the shadow. If the shadow moves off the ball you have lost the proper swing center. If you keep the shadow on the ball, even though it moves a little, you have maintained the correct swing position.
There are many other factors to consider when learning how to play better golf. You also have to consider your short game. You need to learn how to drive the ball further without power but learning how to drive it using speed rather than force.
What is really important is how to finish your swing correctly. No matter if it’s the long game, short game or even putting. The swing is of course the most basic concept to learn and learn correctly.

3) Constructing Your Own and Habit Built Clubs
If you have looked around and truly have not reach something to suit you, there are two alternatives presented to you for the perfect clubs. The expensive, skies the limit option is to have a computer design the perfect club for you. Your height, swing style, stance, and other preferences are fed into a computer, the perfect club specifications are spit out and the factory builds it. The lower end version of this is to select the components that you would like to have, buy them and bring together them at home, yourself.
4)The Benefits of Custom Golf Clubs
Custom golf clubs fitting makes a advance option than just buying new golf clubs. Getting custom fitting golf clubs is a golf tip that translates to a very worthy deal. Custom made clubs are expensive, but well worth the cost for many golfers who want every advantage. One of the most unpredicted advantages to the custom made golf club is an improved sense of self-belief confidence. Custom golf club building is a science that becomes an art when years of experience and the proper tools are placed in the hands of our professionals. This is a unique craft that lends itself to both art and experience. Custom building golf clubs is becoming more popular as word gets out of how simple it can be. Customarily, golfers can choose from an array of 15 wood clubs but beginners can start with a complete set that may be composed of only 3 or 4 of these clubs.
And The Other Gear:
Of course, you recognize that you cannot golf without clubs, but there are other things that are essential as well. A basic golf bag to bring your clubs and your other gear should be tough and durable, of decent size, but not so huge that you cannot contentedly carry it. You will also need golf balls, preferably marked with either your name or some other marking so that you know whose is whose.
Along with clubs and balls, your bag should contain: golf tees, (the wooden ones are about the best, as well as the cheapest), golf gloves, a few small items (coins maybe) to use as markers as you go, and towels, (one or two at the minimum). Of course, if you pick up a catalog, open a magazine or pull up a golf website, you will discover countless other items, but you really can do without many of those things. And remember, getting caught up in golf gear purchasing madness will not help your golf game in any way.

Golf For Beginners Part 1: The Complete Ideas A New Golfer Should Realize
Posted by Golf Pro in Golf Clubs on July 9th, 2009
Golf is one of the fastest rising sports-based hobbies worldwide. It does not have need of super-human power , momentum or size to be enjoyed. It does not need that you start at age two, though some of the most golfers have, to be successful. In fact, golf is one of the few sports that hundreds of people engage in after retirement, every year. To get started in the game there are very few necessities : a course, some rental clubs and the wish to walk in the great outdoors for a lovely afternoon. Of course, many folks do get carried away right from the start and pay money for every golf related item that crosses their path, but none of that is really necessary. Or is it? Read on and find out what you need to know for golf, from equipment, clothing, to the lingo. You will be looking and sounding like a real golfer in no time. (Oh, and if you throw in some lessons, you might actually play like one, too!)
Getting the Goods: Gear You Need and Some Bonus Goodies
Beginning golfers can start working with rental clubs, but as soon as you know that you will continue, you should actually start looking for your own. Rental clubs are great as your learn the nuts and bolts, but once you have that down, and are ready to start playing for real, you will require clubs that are better appropriate for your swing, your body type and your height. There are some nuts and bolts facts to keep in mind when looking for the clubs that you will be using.
1) Price and Brand Name.
Do not get trapped up in the “best” product names, the ones that the pros are using. You are not a professional golfer, after all, and do not have their fiscal backing. Most of the world’s players get their clubs supplied to them by the manufacturers- who get the profit of advertising. You can start with lower end new golf clubs, or even used golf clubs and be absolutelyokay, and upgrade as you go. Starting with the budget clubs can allow for lessons, either from a pro or a video. Once you upgrade your game, then you can buy a new club or two. The sky is not going to turn green and fall if you mix the new clubs in with the old. Never buy clubs that are beyond your current budget.
2) Fit and Style
Golf clubs that are too long for you will be unwieldy and hamper your swing. If they are too short, it will cause you to adopt a strange and probably painful posture. The fit of a golf club is so crucial, that the pros use computer analysis to get their perfect club, but you are not in that league, right? If you are only golfing once or twice in a year’s time and still insist on owning your own clubs, you are perfectly within your rights to walk into the local big box store and grab the first set of clubs that catches your fancy. On the other hand, if you are a more avid golfer, start your club search at a sporting good store, or a pro shop and ask if there is an associate that is club fitting trained. The average height golfer, (male or female) should have a fairly easy time of finding good clubs, however those taller or shorter than average height will have a slightly harder time. More on fitting a golf club in the next section.
That’s all golf tips for today.I hope that new golfer will get valuable knowledge here. See you in golf for beginners Part 2 soon.
The Simple Golf Swing Review
The Simple Golf Swing is a product that is written by David Nevogt. This guide proclaims that it can take about 7-12 strokes off your game. If followed and drills are practiced there probably is no reason why The Simple Golf Swing can’t take at least 7 strokes off of your game.
The premise behind The Simple Golf Swing is that you have to use your spine as an axis. If you’re not doing this correctly, then it is causing you to not get consistent results when you swing the club. This is because if you’re not using your spine correctly then you will not have the correct swing path. If you’re a golfer you know that just means trouble.
The Simple Golf Swing also goes into detail about how to grip your club correctly. It shows you how you how to get your timing down. Again, if you’re a golfer you know that the timing is key to having a good golf swing.
The Simple Golf Swing also goes into detail about how to grip your club correctly. It shows you how you how to get your timing down. Again, if you’re a golfer you know that the timing is key to having a good golf swing.
The Simple Golf Swing is easy to use because it has tons of pictures. It also has very useful drills to help ingrain the proper techniques into your muscle memory. What really makes this guide unique is the mechanics of the actual swing that it teaches. It’s not your typical swing. It will allow you to hit the ball with greater precision and a lot harder.
A lot of golfing guides lack a short game section. This is where The Simple Golf Swing excels. As a golfer you know that the short game is ultimately what can make or break a great round of golf.
A lot of golfing guides lack a short game section. This is where The Simple Golf Swing excels. As a golfer you know that the short game is ultimately what can make or break a great round of golf.
You won’t be able to improve your game if you don’t use the material. That’s common sense. If you really do absorb the information and put it to use you should improve your game by at least 7 strokes.
The sales letter has some great testimonials from people who implemented what was taught and they wrote how they’re game improved. There are also some great bonuses included with The Simple Golf Swing. These bonuses compliment The Simple Golf Swing nicely. You can see what they are on the sales letter as well. The price is insanely low considering how much The Simple Golf Swing can help improve your enjoyment of golf. It’s only $47.

Improve Golf Swing: Or Die Trying
If you’re like most other golfers then you probably are looking for a way to increase your enjoyment of the game by performing better.
While it is tempting to blame a tough day out on the course on a lot of different factors, it ultimately comes back to you. A lack of consistency is usually the culprit for most golfers.
Your golf swing is usually where most of your consistency problems probably stem from.
The golf swing is a very unnatural motion for our body. Also, because there are so many factors involved during a golf swing it’s easy to have problems. To improve golf swing, you have to know exactly what you are doing wrong. The best way to do that is to be sure that you are making a conscious effort to double check everything and think about every motion you are going to do before you execute it.
Over the course of time, you may have built bad habits into your golf swing that have become automatic. So, if you slow down your golf swing and really concentrate on everything that you are doing, you may be able to catch what you are doing wrong. A video camera can be your best friend to see what you’re doing wrong too.
Something else that can be affecting your swing is your clubs. If your clubs aren’t sized right for you, this can cause you problems. This doesn’t give you an excuse to run out and buy brand new golf clubs and expect all your problems to magically disappear. If you have your golf swing fundamentals down but are still having trouble, then you should go to your pro shop with your club. Have them check out your clubs and your swing.
They should be able to tell you if there is some issue with your clubs.
Something else that can improve golf swing is to actually do some golf related exercises. If you strengthen the muscles involved with a golf swing, you’ll see improved results. You’ll be able to get more club head speed and hit the ball a lot further too.
Another way to improve golf swing is to just clear your mind before you take your shot. Sometimes this can be rather difficult.
However, if you are feeling stress or pressure and worrying you’re going to mess up the shot, chances are you probably will. Do some deep breathing exercises before you swing your club. Instead of thinking about how you’re going to mess the shot up envision yourself swinging and hitting the ball perfectly and envision the ball flying high, straight, and far.

Golf Holidays To Get Away From It All
If you have been working too hard for too long and just need to get away and play some golf, you will want to check out golf holidays package vacations from your travel agent. These travel arrangements are often referred to as “stay and play” plans because you stay at a certain hotel and receive rights to play at a certain golf course while you are there. When making these arrangements, make sure there are not special requirements that will make playing inconvenient or impossible for you. Some of these plans require you to limit your arrival dates and departure dates or have other unacceptable limits so read the fine print.
You can take golf holidays to all sorts of locations depending on your personality and desires. For instance, you can choose to golf in a course located near or in a major city, taking in museums or theatres when not golfing. Or you might choose to visit a golf course in an area of rugged natural beauty such as the mountains. While there, you might take a day to fish instead of golf. Whatever your needs, you can find golf holidays packages to meet your needs.
Are you going to take your own golf clubs with you when you travel on golf holidays? You probably would prefer to use them rather than the clubs that can be rented at the course to which you are travelling. If you choose to take them with you, you will need to think about the arrangements a bit. For instance, do you have a really high quality golf club bag which will protect those expensive golf clubs. If not, you’d better get one. You won’t be able to carry your clubs on if you are flying, so you’ll need a bag that can take airport luggage handling and still protect your clubs. So get a good one.
When picking a destination for golf holidays, pick the course you wish to play on first, and then find out about lodging at hotels, resorts, or stay and play package plans. Make sure the tee times that are set for you when choosing a stay and play package are going to work for you. People who are staying at a golf course’s own resort generally get first serve when choosing tee times. If it’s really important to you to get the tee time you desire, it may be worth it to you to stay at the resort instead of a less expensive hotel. Either way, you are sure to find refreshment and restoration when taking golf holidays.

Proposal Writing — A Golfer’s Perspective
Two areas of my life that are getting increased attention are golf and proposal writing. Now, the growing numbers of golfers-male and female – is understandable given the social and competitive aspects of the game and the Tiger Woods/Annika Sorenstam phenomenon. But why is proposal writing receiving more attention? Simple – it is the lifeblood of any flourishing organization.
In today’s marketplace, there are now numerous suppliers able to offer similar products/services. Therefore, purchasers, to ensure they get the best pricing and support, require vendors to submit proposals. Everyone is looking for the “best bang for their buck.”
In addition, government mandates now require staff not only to put potential vendors through an exhaustive tendering process but also to ensure that the vendor’s delivery is cost-effective. What this means is that proposal writing is fast becoming an art and a requisite for successful business people.
But why mention golf and proposals in the same article? What can they possibly have in common? The answer came to me last week just after I had finished an extensive proposal and had rewarded myself with a trip to the links.
• When you approach the tee for the initial shot, you address the ball and visualize the success of your first stroke – it will travel straight down the fairway.
The secret to a good proposal is to start by addressing the audience. Open with your understanding of their needs or problems. This section can be long or short, but it must be direct. It shouldn’t hook or slice into concerns the reader doesn’t know he has.
• As you approach the green, carefully select the appropriate clubs-the ones that work for you. Heed the advice of the other players but know what you can deliver and keep focused on what is required. After all, you’re the one who has to make the shot.
A colleague recently shared with me a proposal based on an RFP (Request for a Proposal) that was submitted by his company. I don’t believe it will succeed. The response was writer-focused not RFP-driven. In other words, the writing team spent too much time bragging about what they wanted to deliver rather than focusing on how they could give the reader what he requested.
• When you are on the green, take your time. Watch the lie; putt cleanly and boldly. And, at the end of the hole add up your strokes. Be honest.
As you come to the end of the proposal, include the time-frames and the costs clearly. Don’t include deadlines you can’t meet or complicated pricing. You’ll lose your credibility for future jobs.
• Outside the clubhouse, look around you. Who is ready for the game? What are their chosen tools? Steel or graphite shafts? Alloy or titanium heads?
Do the chosen clubs reflect the golfer’s skill? Are they right for that particular course? A high-tech driver is overkill on a short par three hole.
When you are finished your proposal, add the appropriate window-dressing. Too much glitz will cause your readers to wonder if you are masking a lack of substance. On the other hand, too little attention to the cosmetic aspects-the title page, table of contents, binding, etc.-will convey a lack of attention to details that may carry over into the actual work. Remember a strong, steady game will give you long-term success in both the proposal writing and golfing fields.

To achieve the perfect golf swing, you’re going to have to diagnose what symptoms you have so you can get the proper medication to fix it.

• You can buy an instructional video that shows all the key components of the perfect golf swing.
• You can go to a golf pro and have them analyze your swing and figure out what you’re doing wrong.
• If you have a digital video recorder you can even buy software for your computer that can analyze footage of your golf swing and tell you exactly what you’re doing wrong.
Once you recognize what exactly is hindering you from accomplishing the perfect golf swing, you can then work on correcting the problem. If you need to purchase a training aid, or even a downloadable product that can help you to obtain the perfect golf swing, you’ll be able to know exactly what it is you are looking for.

Improve Your Golf Swing And Improve Your Enjoyment Of Golf
Posted by Golf Pro in Uncategorized on July 5th, 2009
The golf swing is probably one of the most difficult and complex athletic moves that there is. This is because there are so many muscles and parts of the body at work. Think about a complex machine that does a certain task. The more moving parts there are on the machine the more likely it’s going to break down and need minor and major adjustments done to it.
The same applies to your golf swing. There are so many movements and factors involved in your golf swing; something is bound to go wrong. Just like the person who fixes the machine has to figure out what part of the machine needs fixed, if you want to improve your golf swing, you’re going to have to know what went wrong.
Get back to the basics
When you first started learning how to golf, you probably were very careful and thought about each and every step of what you had to do when you would swing your golf club. You had to do this because it wasn’t second nature to you, it was new. As time went on, you probably got more lax in concentrating on every individual part of the movement.
Also, if when you were new you built bad habits into your golf swing, they are now ingrained into your muscle memory. If you want to improve your golf swing, you have to start breaking down every component of a golf swing and actually concentrate on what you are doing as you do it. Hopefully you will be able to recognize what you are doing wrong.
The naked eye isn’t very good for catching every nuance of a complex movement. This is why it is so critical for any golfer who is serious about wanting to improve to video record their golf swing. By watching yourself and being able to slow the video down you should be able to spot your weaknesses and be able to drastically improve your golf swing.
Work on your pre-swing mechanics
If you actually concentrate on your pre-swing mechanics you may also be able to drastically improve your golf swing. Make sure your head position is good. Make sure your body is squared up properly. Make sure the ball is placed in the proper location. You have to be sure your weight is distributed where it is supposed to be. You also have to have the correct stance. Check to make sure your grip is good. Make sure your wrists are positioned properly throughout the swing. Some golfers have a real problem with ensuring they get a full range of motion throughout their golf swing.
By making sure that you are concentrating on all aspects of the pre-swing and the actual swing, you should be able to improve your golf swing. This will result in better rounds of golf. Of course, better rounds of golf mean a greater enjoyment of the game while you’re on the course.

Golf Pro Golf Product Shopping
Posted by Golf Pro in Golf Equipment on July 5th, 2009
Everybody needs to learn from somewhere how to play the game of golf. At any golf course in the world, you can find a professional golfer who is paid to provide tips on techniques and equipment. You can typically find him on the golf course or in the Pro Shop. The Golf Pro is the one person at the golf course who would truly be able to tell you about Golf Pro Golf Product shopping items would be a good pick for you.
When you enter the Pro Shop, you see a wide assortment of balls in one corner of the Pro Shop, with training aids, golf bags, gloves, balls, apparel and an enormous selection of golf clubs to choose from. You feel ready to start your Golf Pro Golf Product Shopping. The equipment is very exciting and you are itching to get started.
Some of these golf clubs can be purchased separately, and some are combined in sets to give a person a complete set of golf clubs with one purchase required. When making Golf Pro Golf Product shopping selections, you need to know the basics about the game of golf, and have a good idea of what you already own.
If you are new to golfing, you might not have anything, and are there to purchase something to hit the ball with. Any type of equipment, in your inexperienced eyes, would be a good choice for golfing equipment. Through the eyes of the Golf Pro, however, is a totally different view.
He wants you to schedule a few days of instruction with him so that he can get a good idea on what your form, posture, hitting strength and accuracy are before he makes a recommendation on what equipment you will need to buy. Only after this review your Golf Pro Golf Product shopping spree can begin.
After a few days of Golf Pro instruction, you feel very professional. You have listened very carefully to all of the tips, and learned some techniques on ball placement, golf course hole par values, and scorekeeping. You spent several hours on the driving range, letting the Golf Pro bask in your improvement on driving a golf ball 250 yards in most cases. You feel very ready to start your Golf Pro Golf Product shopping tour.
The Golf Pro sees that you are committed to learning the golf sport and thinks you might be a good player to add to a foursome that just lost a member. With practice, he also knows that it is quite possible to become good enough to enter the Spring Amateur Classic that is scheduled in about 7 months. To begin your Golf Pro Golf Product shopping tour, he takes measurements of your height and arm length.
The Golf Pro recommends a custom made golf club set that would give you every tool that you needed to play an occasional round of golf. The cost of this set is quite a bit lower than more professional grade models, but you understand why he did not recommend those. You simply are not ready for them, and would scuff them up quite badly when you played on the exquisitely landscaped course outside.
